Brothers & Sisters

Sundays from 10:00-11:00 p.m., ET

“Brothers & Sisters” returns for a fourth season as executive producers Ken Olin, Greg Berlanti, Monica Owusu-Breen and Alison Schapker continue to follow the California-based Walker family through the complicated maze of American life today. The compelling one-hour drama series, which airs Sundays from 10:00-11:00 p.m., ET on ABC, is about a collection of five enmeshed and somewhat damaged adult siblings and their strong but passionately devoted mother, Nora Walker (Oscar and Emmy Award winner, Sally Field). The Walkers’ lives have not been without challenge; romance, parenting, illness, politics, divorce, infidelity, addiction, arrest, war and even death have pushed each of them to the limit, but they continue to work toward living their lives as individuals, while loving each other unconditionally and trying to maintain some semblance of normalcy after the loss and lies of their larger-than-life family patriarch, William Walker.

Eldest sibling Sarah (Emmy Award nominee Rachel Griffiths) is a divorced mother of two who struggles to allow herself to experience real love again with a mysterious Frenchman while dealing with a family business in deep financial crisis. She has, however, learned to coexist with her father’s lifelong mistress, Holly Harper (Patricia Wettig), who has now become entrenched in planning her daughter’s wedding. Kevin (Matthew Rhys) is an openly gay lawyer who has finally found his soul mate and spouse in compassionate, loving, chef Scotty Wandell (Luke Macfarlane). Together they’ve decided to take the next step to expand their family and explore the maze of surrogacy. The baby of the family, Justin (Dave Annable), has fought his way through war trauma, injury and addiction, but has finally found love with fiancée Rebecca (Emily VanCamp) and has made the decision to attend medical school. Kitty (Calista Flockhart) and Robert McCallister (Rob Lowe) have fallen in love with their new baby, Evan, but continue to work on keeping their marriage alive in the wake of Robert’s Gubernatorial campaign. Saul Holden (Ron Rifkin) is the emotional pillar of the Walker family, who has finally chosen to live his own life, exploring his feelings as a now openly gay man while charging himself with looking after the newest addition to the Walker clan, Ryan Lafferty (Luke Grimes). After facing possible incarceration for embezzling company funds, Tommy Walker (Balthazar Getty) has fled to Mexico on a personal emotional journey, isolating himself from his wife, daughter and his entire family. And, when one of her own discovers a life threatening illness, Nora Walker (Sally Field), continues to hold them all together during the most challenging time of her family’s life.

“Brothers & Sisters” stars Dave Annable as Justin Walker, Maxwell Perry Cotton as Cooper Whedon, Kerris Lilla Dorsey as Paige, Sally Field as Nora Holden, Calista Flockhart as Kitty Walker, Balthazar Getty as Thomas Walker, Rachel Griffiths as Sarah Walker, Luke Grimes as Ryan Lafferty, Luke Macfarlane as Scotty Wandell, Rob Lowe as Senator Robert McCallister, Matthew Rhys as Kevin Walker, Ron Rifkin as Saul Holden, Emily VanCamp as Rebecca Harper and Patricia Wettig as Holly Harper.

The series is executive-produced by Ken Olin (“Alias,” “thirtysomething”), Greg Berlanti (“Dirty Sexy Money,” “Everwood”), Alison Schapker (“Alias”) and Monica Owusu-Breen (“Alias”), Sarah Caplan and Molly Newman. The series is produced by ABC Studios.
