World News Now

Weeknights from 2:00-5:00 a.m., ET

"World News Now" begins the Network's early morning news schedule with a presentation of the latest news, business, entertainment and weather reports. In addition to bringing its viewers the morning's top stories and breaking news from around the world, this engaging, live broadcast presents everything from the important issues of the day to entertainment features. It also excerpts the best of ABC News' daily broadcasts and news magazines, featuring award-winning reporting from news division's correspondents and anchors. Jeremy Hubbard and Vinita Nair are the anchors of the program.

"World News Now" offers its viewers news coverage and features not always provided on traditional news programs. Some of the regular in-depth features include:

* "American Landscape" - a glimpse at how important stories of the day are reported in the cities and regions where the news is happening

* "World News Vault" -- a nostalgic look at how ABC News covered important stories of the past

* "The Skinny" - a wrap-up of the top entertainment and pop culture headlines

"World News Now" premiered in January 1992.
