Sue Johnson has been named vice president, Talent Development and East Coast Programming for ABC Daytime. In her role Ms. Johnson serves as network programming executive and creative liaison for the ABC Daytime dramas "All My Children" and "One Life to Live." In addition she is responsible for the writer and production development programs for all three ABC Daytime dramas, "All My Children," "One Life to Live" and "General Hospital."
Ms. Johnson most recently served as director, Talent Development and East Coast Programming. She joined ABC Daytime in 1993 as executive assistant to the president of ABC Daytime, was promoted to Programming coordinator, then to director, Talent Development. A founding member of the ABC Talent Development Scholarship Grant program, Ms. Johnson remains a judge and mentor in the program. She has also served as a participant in the ABC Corporate Mentoring program. Ms. Johnson received her master's degree in film and television from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She completed her undergraduate degree with a double major in aquatic biology and communications studies at the University of California at Santa Barbara. She is married to Nicholas Sigman.
